MILLION DOLLAR ROUND TABLE

After speaking with the Million Dollar Round Table, Kim meets with the 2001 MDRT Executive Committee, Al Prewitt (President), Mitchell Ostrove (Secretary), and Allen Bruce (Vice President).

 

KIM VISITS NEW YORK
Kim meets with Charlie MacCormack, President of Save the Children. Kim and Ron Gibbs were in New York in July 2001 to meet with representatives from Save The Children to discuss joint projects in East Timor, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Africa. Mr. MacCormack commended the Foundation for its efforts to raise funds in support of their projects around the world. He and the members of his board wholeheartedly support the alliance with The Kim Foundation International and look forward to a long-term relationship.

 

OUTREACH TO WASHINGTON D.C.
Ron Gibbs, President of the Kim Foundation International in the U.S., met with Christine Knudsen, director of the Children in Crisis Programs for Save The Children in Washington D.C. Ron and Christine discussed details of the program in East Timor, as well as other joint projects around the world, including those for children who are victims of land mines in Afghanistan and other programs in Africa.

 

OPENING OF U.S. HEADQUARTERS OFFICE IN CHICAGO
Kim and Bill Kurtis, who was the Master of Ceremonies at the reception. Mr. Kurtis is a renowned television newscaster and host of a variety of special programs on A&E.
Lt. Governor Corrine Wood, Kim, and Ron Gibbs. The Lt. Governor of Illinois welcomed the attendees to the reception and congratulated the Foundation on the opening of the U.S. headquarters office in Chicago. She commended the Foundation for its work in helping children around the world, and gave her wholehearted support to helping the Foundation in its continued growth.
